Stay Resilient in Times of Crisis and Act Like a Professional, IBVtalk 03

This talk will be held in English and in person

This talk takes place at building 01.52 (Gastdozentenhaus), room "Großer Saal".

Geopolitical crises, uncertainty about your home country, and constant negative news can silently affect your focus, motivation, and performance. As an international student, you may carry emotional stress while still being expected to perform academically and professionally.

In this interactive IBVtalk, you will learn practical resilience strategies that help you stay stable and reliable even during difficult times. We explore how to manage emotional overload, set mental boundaries, and communicate professionally in stressful situations.

You will practice short grounding techniques, reflection tools, and structured communication methods that support you in remaining focused and credible in your studies or job.

Resilience is not about ignoring emotions. It is about developing inner strength so you can continue to grow, contribute, and act professionally — even in uncertain times.

This talk is hosted by Iman Baratvakili, Coach and Lecturer at KIT /FWL Baden-Württemberg Communication Lead, KIT / Project Manager, Stadt Baden-Baden.
