What is the KIT-Card?
The KIT Card is the multifunctional student ID card at KIT. It is the daily companion of all students from the very beginning and throughout their studies.

Among other things, the KIT Card serves as:
  • identification card for the KIT libraries
  • payment card in the canteens and cafeterias
  • access to KIT buildings
  • a regular card for the semester ticket in the Karlsruhe Transport Association (KVV)

With your advertising message on the back of the KIT Card, you ensure your presence in the everyday life of students - for the entire duration of their studies.

With your presence on the KIT Card, you achieve direct, frequent and long-term visibility with your target group of KIT students.
  • Students often use their KIT Card on a daily basis, e.g. when paying in the canteen, when borrowing books or as an access card on campus.
  • The KIT Card is used for the entire duration of their studies, so it often remains in use for five years.
  • You use the entire back of the KIT Card exclusively for your advertising message.

Details
Numbers and figures to the booking of the KIT-Card
  • Available total circulation: 7,000-8,000 tickets per year
  • Minimum purchase quantity: 1,000 copies
  • Recommended booking time: always at the beginning of the semester (March/ April and September/October), as this is when most tickets are issued

Price:
  • Regular: €7.50 per ticket (plus VAT)
  • Discount: €7.00 per ticket (plus VAT) from a purchase quantity of 2,000
