Guided KIT Career Fair Tour: Approach Employers with Confidence (Day 2)

This guided tour will be held in English and in person. Part of the series "Becoming Visible and Meeting Employers".

This session is offered on day 1 and 2 of the KIT career fair. Please choose one time slot that suits you.

Place: KIT Career Fair, Meeting Point: Student tent

Walking into a large career fair can feel overwhelming. Which companies should you talk to? How do you start a conversation? And what should you say when you meet a recruiter?

During this guided tour, you will explore the KIT Career Fair together with a career advisor and get practical tips on how to approach companies and start conversations.

You will:

  • receive a short introduction on how to navigate the career fair
  • learn how conversations with recruiters can start
  • practice introducing yourself in a short and confident way
  • gain confidence for approaching companies on your own

The tour is designed to help you feel more comfortable at the fair and make the most of your visit.

The tour will be led by Julia Neer, Coach and Trainer at Career Service.

If your plans change, please cancel your registration in advance.

We collect, save and process personal data of persons who register for the event in order to organize the event and evaluate the project. The anonymized personal data is shared with the DAAD for statistical reasons. Please see our data protection information for details.

Non-international students can also enroll and will be placed at the waiting list. We inform them a few days before start, if there are places left for non-international students and if they can attend.
