Career Opportunities in the Karlsruhe TechnologyRegion

The Karlsruhe Technology Region is one of the strongest economic regions in Europe and aims to further expand its leading position by attracting and retaining international professionals.

But what makes this region so strong? And how can you become part of it as an international professional? In this session, you will explore the regional job market and identify opportunities that match your profile.

 You will:

• gain insight into the economic strengths of the Karlsruhe Technology Region
• explore career paths for international professionals in the region
• learn how small and medium-sized enterprises function as “hidden champions” in their fields
• identify companies that may fit your professional background
• develop ideas on how to start your career in the region

You will gain a clearer understanding of how the regional job market is structured and how you can position yourself within it.

The session will be led by Sinéad O'Brien from the Welcome Center TRK, who advises international professionals, students, apprentices and companies in the region. 

Participation Policy and Data Protection Information

The events are offered for international degree seeking students and recent graduates (up to one year after graduation) within the DAAD-funded (German Academic Exchange Service) project “Study, Stay, Succeed in Karlsruhe”. As participation is limited and the activities are publicly funded, we ask participants to register only if they plan to attend the full session. Registration implies a binding intention to attend. If your plans change, please cancel your registration in advance.

We collect, save and process personal data of persons who register for the event in order to organize the event and evaluate the project. The anonymized personal data is shared with the DAAD for statistical reasons. Please see our data protection information for details.

Non-international students can also enroll and will be placed at the waiting list. We inform them a few days before start, if there are places left for non-international students and if they can attend.
