Your salary has a major impact on your job satisfaction. In this workshop, you will prepare for your first salary negotiations: Working together in groups, you will develop and compare salary structures and average starting salaries in engineering. We will also look at the role of collective agreements – and how they can influence holiday entitlement and working hours.

• Level and composition of starting salaries in various specialist areas
• Realistic salary expectations and actual annual remuneration
• Advantages of collective agreements
• Salary vs. free time – which is more important to you?
• Career and salary development

Your goals:
• Understand the difference between companies bound by collective agreements and those not bound by collective agreements
• Gain an overview of starting salaries and their composition
• Learn about different career paths and salary levels
