Alumni in spotlight: “Industrial decarbonization: reality, challenge, future”

Lecture by KIT alumna Patricia Moock on industrial decabonization. Online via ZOOM in German.

Industrial companies are at the center of the climate transformation - and under enormous pressure to act. But where do we really stand when it comes to decarbonization? What are the biggest stumbling blocks, and what role does carbon removal play as a complement to emissions avoidance? The presentation will provide a compact overview of the status quo, challenges and strategic levers for a climate-compatible industry.

The lecture will be given by Patricia Moock, who studied chemical engineering and process engineering at KIT. After various professional positions in Germany and abroad, she founded a company and advises other companies on sustainability strategies.

The event is open to alumnae and alumni of KIT as well as students of all disciplines and semesters. We look forward to your participation! All registered participants will receive the link to the ZOOM-Call on the day of the event.
