How to get your perfect application photo
A high-quality application photo as part of your documents is still very popular on the German job market. It's all about quality, because the first impression of your application documents is crucial and often opens the door to a job interview.
Is an appointment with a professional photographer too expensive for your budget? Good news: At the Career Service's application photo shoot directly on campus, you can get three professionally taken and edited application photos for just 20 euros. Book one of the popular appointments now!

Schedule

Set the scene
Pay €20 with your EC card and off you go: During the 10-minute shoot, the photographer will give you tips for good poses and you can also change your outfit once.
Well selected and advised
Immediately after the shoot, you and the photographer will select the three best pictures in 5 minutes.
You have your application documents with you? We offer you a quick check on site!
Receive image
About two weeks after your appointment, you will receive the edited photos by e-mail. Good luck with your application!

What do I wear?
Tips for your outfit
  • Wear something you feel really comfortable in and not dressed up.
  • This will make you look more likeable in the photo.
  • Pay attention to any clothing that is customary in the industry.
  • If in doubt, it's better to be too elegant than too simple.
  • “Do”: plain clothing in neutral or dark tones
  • “Don't”: striking colors or small patterns
  • Note: A light gray canvas serves as the photo background.
