J&C Bachmann develops measuring instruments for industrial analysis and control systems. The focus is x-ray fluorescence based elemental analysis which is applied mainly in the mining and recycling sector. The early detection of process parameters increases the efficiency and sustainability of the extraction of important raw materials. This received the "Umwelttechnikpreis" (environmental technology award) of Baden-Württemberg in 2023.

J&C Bachmann is a young, family-lead company which currently employs 16 people with backgrounds in physics, computer science and engineering (mechanical, control, electrical, and process). The continuous research and development offers an exciting working environment with varied projects.
