Briefly explained
Why do you need Career Coaching?
Our personal Career Coaching supports you at any stage of your studies – including the very beginning. Are you in your first semesters and trying to understand how the German labour market works? Are you wondering which career options are open to you with your degree, or how to gain relevant experience early on? Or are you already further along in your studies and looking for concrete career perspectives after graduation?

We’re here to help: In the coaching session, you talk one-on-one with an experienced coach about your ideas, goals and expectations. Using different tools and methods, we help you identify your key competencies, interests and values, and relate them to the requirements of the German job market. Together, you develop solution strategies and strengthen your ability to make decisions – so you benefit long-term from the coaching.

Each session lasts around one hour, is individual, independent, confidential and open-ended. You can choose whether you prefer an on-campus session or an online appointment. This free coaching service is available to KIT students for up to one year after graduation.
