Das Zentrum für digitale Barrierefreiheit und Assistive Technologien (ACCESS@KIT) unterstützt und berät seit vielen Jahren Studierende und Studieninteressierte mit Sehbehinderung oder Blindheit in allen am KIT angebotenen Studienfächern. Gemeinsam mit der Dienstleistungseinheit Kommunikation und Marketing (KM) wollen wir eine Datenbasis schaffen und barrierefrei zur Verfügung stellen, so dass Personen mit einer motorischen oder sensorischen Behinderung und neurodiverse Personen die individuelle Nutzbarkeit von Räumen und Gebäuden vorab einschätzen können.

Aufgabenbeschreibung

Alle studierendenrelevanten Gebäude und Räume des KIT werden nach vordefinierten Kriterien verschlagwortet und dabei deren Barrierefreiheitsmerkmale erfasst.

Darauf aufbauend werden die Räume und Gebäude in OpenStreetMap (OSM) abgebildet und mit relevanten Informationen für beeinträchtigte Personen angereichert.

Vorkenntnisse und Anforderungen

Spaß an inklusiven Themen und daran, einen sinnvollen Beitrag für die Gesellschaft zu leisten

Von Vorteil sind Kenntnisse der Kartierung von Gebäuden in OpenStreetMap (OSM)
