Role Overview
You will work on the electronics inside our robotic systems. Your first project will be a display PCB for our robot head: addressable LEDs driven by a microcontroller, connected to the rest of the system over an industrial communication bus. You will take this board from schematic to layout, through production, and into testing on real hardware.
This is a hands-on role. If you have designed a PCB before — at university, in a student team, or on your own — and have written some firmware for a microcontroller, you already have the foundation for this position. Experienced engineers will review your work and support you along the way, and you will pick up plenty as you go.

What you will work on in detail:

* Design PCBs from schematic through board layout
* Coordinate closely with our mechanical engineers on mechanical integration and fit
* Prepare designs for production and test the resulting prototypes
* Bring your design into real systems, supported by experienced engineers

Skills

* Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a related field
* Interest in robotics and automation
* First experience with PCB design — a personal project, a student team, or a university course all count
* Familiarity with a PCB CAD tool such as KiCad or Altium
* Have programmed a microcontroller before (STM32 is a plus, but not required)
