Description

We are looking for an Aerosol Research Scientist (PhD) - all genders to join our international team based in Shanghai, China.

📍 Location: Shanghai, China | Remote work available within China
✈️ Regular regional travel across Greater China & Asia-Pacific region

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
> Provide scientific and technical consulting to customers in academia, research, and industry
> Install, commission, and provide technical support for aerosol measurement systems
> Conduct customer training sessions and workshops
> Provide on-site application support and troubleshooting
> Analyze and interpret aerosol measurement data
> Collaborate closely with international R&D and application teams

YOUR PROFILE
> PhD or MSc in Aerosol Science, Atmospheric Physics, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field – completed or close to completion
> Initial experience with aerosol instrumentation and particle measurement systems, e.g. through research projects, internships, or academic work
> Good understanding of aerosol physics and particle characterization
> Familiarity with SMPS, CPC, and/or OPC systems is highly desirable
> Basic experience with Python and/or MATLAB for data analysis
> Strong communication skills and willingness to work directly with customers
> Native-level Mandarin Chinese and fluent English are required
> Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, or other language skills are a strong plus
