About Rement
Our Deep-Tech Startup Rement is re-engineering concrete waste to enable a circular construction industry. We develop concrete upcycling plants that turn concrete waste and CO₂ into high-quality, sustainable materials—creating real economic and environmental impact.
Your MissionAs VP or Head of Engineering, you will scale our technology from pilot to our first commercial FOAK (first-of-a-kind) plant.
You act as the right hand to the CTO and join the leadership team alongside CEO and COO. Your role is to translate R&D into industrial reality—owning the path from lab to large-scale deployment.
What You Will DoScale-up & Deployment
· Lead the development of our first industrial plant from pilot to commercial scale
· Define process design packages, drive equipment specification, and ensure engineering readiness
· Manage interfaces with EPC/engineering partners and support permitting processes
Engineering Leadership
· Shape and execute Rement’s engineering and scale-up strategy together with the CTO
· Build and lead our future engineering organization (scale-up team starting 2026–2027)
R&D & Technology Translation
· Align R&D activities with business and engineering goals
· Translate scientific insights into process, product, and scale-up decisions
· Structure and steer the R&D portfolio toward industrial impact
External Collaboration & Market Readiness
· Build partnerships with universities, industrial partners, and customers
· Drive material validation, certification, and compliance (e.g., EN/DIN standards)
What We Are Looking For
· Degree in Process, Chemical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering (or similar)
· 8+ years of engineering experience, ideally in plant engineering or industrial environments
· 3+ years of leadership experience
· Proven track record in scaling technologies (pilot → industrial / FOAK)
· Availability from Q3 2026
Plus:
· Experience in construction materials, cement, or material science
· Exposure to climate tech, CO₂ utilization, or circular economy
