Design Your Professional Path in Germany, IBVtalk 06

This talk will be held in English and in person. 

Professional success in Germany does not always follow one fixed route. Some international students aim for a job, others are curious about startups, and some may later combine employment, research, entrepreneurship or project-based work.

In this interactive session, you will explore what you already bring: your skills, values, experience and possible contribution. Through a professional path-mapping exercise, you will compare different options such as employment, entrepreneurship and hybrid career paths.

You will leave with a clearer understanding of which direction may fit your current situation and what your next step could be.

This interactive IBVtalk (IBV=International Bond Values) / Value Mapping Challenge will be lead by Iman Baratvakili, Academic Staff and Business Development Manager at KIT / Future International Founder Program Lead

What are IBVtalks? IBVtalks - International Bond Values talks are interactive sessions designed to support international students in building their personal and professional path in Germany. Through practical exercises and exchange, the sessions help participants better understand their strenghts, build meaningful connections and make their value more visible. 

Target group:  international students transitioning into professional life (i. e. final semester or recently graduated), international students taking first career steps (i. e. mid of study), optionally international students new at KIT 

Participation Policy and Data Protection Information

The events are offered for international degree seeking students and recent graduates (up to one year after graduation) within the DAAD-funded (German Academic Exchange Service) project “Study, Stay, Succeed in Karlsruhe”. As participation is limited and the activities are publicly funded, we ask participants to register only if they plan to attend the full session. Registration implies a binding intention to attend. If your plans change, please cancel your registration in advance.

We collect, save and process personal data of persons who register for the event in order to organize the event and evaluate the project. The anonymized personal data is shared with the DAAD for statistical reasons. Please see our data protection information for details.

Non-international students can also enroll and will be placed at the waiting list. We inform them a few days before start, if there are places left for non-international students and if they can attend.
