
Job Interview Training
This interactive workshop will be conducted in English language.
It is one of two sessions, facilitated by Meike von Platen-Holzapfel, experienced HR specialist and career coach. With her tips and insights international students can kick-start their careers in the German job market.
Here’s a summary of what you can expect to gain from it:
- Learn how to present yourself confidently – both in words and appearance
- Master the dos & don’ts of job interviews
- Know how to answer common and tricky questions (including those about salary expectations)
- Take away a proven checklist to prepare and follow up effectively
This workshop will equip you with the insights to convince in an interview and to ultimately land your dream job.

This training is funded by the DAAD project “Study, Stay, Succeed in Karlsruhe”. International degree seeking students and recent graduates from KIT (up to one year after graduation) will be given priority.
We collect, save and process personal data of persons who register for the course in order to organize the event and evaluate the project. The anonymized personal data is shared with the DAAD for statistical reasons. Please see our data protection information for details.
Non-international students can also enroll and will be placed at the waiting list. We inform them a few days before start, if there are places left for non-international students and if they can attend.
