Stellenbeschreibung

Scope of the Work
Your tasks will primarily involve collaboration and support in
practice-oriented research projects. We offer a pleasant yet
challenging working atmosphere with diverse programming-related tasks.
The position gives you the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in,
among others, the following areas:
- Development, maintenance, and optimization (efficiency mprovement)
of Python code for research applications
- Modeling and solving optimization problems in the field of Operations Research (e.g. layout planning)
- Integration of AI models into existing codebases

In addition, you will gain insight into further topics such as
sustainable urban development, material flow modeling and life
cycle assessments (LCA), as well as scientific work in general.

Requirements and Qualifications

Long-term availability (at least 6 months) is desired.
Required:
- (Very) good Python skills, experience with Git
- Interest in clean and efficient code development
Preferable:
- Experience in image analysis, operations research, and AI
- Reliable and independent working style

Start / Duration / Working Hours
Start of employment as soon as possible, for a minimum 6 months.
At least 20 hours (maximum 32 hours) per month.
